
Ingredients
- 1Kg White fish ( Basa or Tilapia works well)
- 3 tbsp Garlic paste
- 1 tsp Ajwaeen (Carom seeds)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Chilli powder (use more if you prefer spicy)
- Oil, for frying
Method
- In a large bowl, add the fish, garlic paste, salt, chilli powder and ajwaeen. Mix together, making sure all the pieces of fish are coated in the spices. If you have time, leave to marinate.
- Heat oil in a large frying pan, and shallow fry each piece till lightly golden. Make sure the fish is cooked through.
- Serve with roti or mash and stir fried veg.
