Chicken Steak Wraps

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce (optional)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken slices with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
    • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until it’s golden and no longer pink in the middle, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.
  2. Assemble the Wraps:
    • Lay a flour tortilla on a flat surface.
    • Spread a mixture of mayonnaise and sour cream on the tortilla.
    • Add a layer of shredded lettuce, followed by tomatoes, onions, and cooked chicken.
    • Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and drizzle with hot sauce if using.
    • Carefully roll the tortilla, folding in the edges to enclose the filling.
  3. Serve:
    • Cut the wraps in half and serve immediately. You can also wrap them in foil and heat in the oven for a warm meal.
