Orange Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 Large Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Garlic Paste
  • 2 tins Plum Tomatoes
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Olive Oil
  • Grated Cheddar or Mozzarella Cheese
  • 500g Dried Pasta

Method

  1.  In a pan, sauté the onion, garlic, salt and pepper for about 5 mins.
  2. Add the tinned tomatoes, with the tomato juice, and cook on a high heat for about 20 mins, stirring occasionally. If you have time, you can leave on simmer for about an hour or until the liquid reduces and the sauce becomes thick.
  3. While the sauce is cooking, boil and drain the pasta.
  4. Add the sauce to the drained pasta. Add the grated cheese and mix it all together.

Serve sprinkled with even more cheese 🙂
