Makes 2 x 12″ thin bases
Ingredients
- 200g Plain Flour
- 7g (1 sachet) Instant yeast
- 1 tsp Salt
- 200 ml Warm water
- a little Olive oil for kneading
Method
- Put the flour in a bowl, and add the yeast and salt. Mix thoroughly.
- Add the warm water, bit by bit, while mixing, until the dough forms a ball.
- Rub a little olive oil on your hands, and the dough ball, and knead for at least 5 mins (you can use a mixer with kneading attachment)
- Put the dough back in the bowl. Cover the bowl with a warm damp cloth or tea towel, and seal with either a lid or some cling film.
- Place somewhere warm, in the sunlight or near a radiator for at least half an hour. You can use the dough proof setting on the microwave.
